Milia (white spots) Keratinization of the skin over the hair follicle occurs, causing sebum to accumulate in the follicle.
This condition usually accompanies dry skin. They appear as small, hard, pearly white cysts. To treat these, we use advanced electrolysis, the use of a fine probe which we insert into the cyst release heat to cauterise.
After treatment the milia spot will look more prominent having raised up to the surface of the skin.
These will naturally remove up to 2 weeks after procedure. Do not try to remove these yourself as you can damage the surrounding tissue.
